ABOUT
ANTHONY "PROFFESOR" EDWARDS

"Charlotte's most lyrical rapper Ant Dawg, releases a debut EP, securing his number one spot ".
-Rap Life
Ant Dawgs rawness and realness hit hard and can be felt in every lyric and bar he spits. You can feel it from the first growl to the last. His music deals with the everyday struggles that many black and brown men face in todays society. He'll be the first to tell you, "Ain't nothing fake about it."
Born in January 2000 at Fort Campbell KY by way of Augusta GA but raised in Charlotte NC, Ant Dawg grew up with a very diverse background. With both of his parents being Army veterans, he met people from all walks of life and begin traveling at a very young age and earned the nickname "The Professor". He set out to write and make
music that's authentic, gritty and genuine. He was always set on creating his own path to become a successful and independent person. Heavily influenced by such artist as 50 Cent, Bow Wow, Tupac and Ludacris, he felt no one could tell his story better than himself so writing his own lyrics
was key. Having already written 10 songs before exiting his teenage years he felt it was time to work on making his dream a reality. He worked hard starting his own businesses and saving to build his own studio to make his demos. Currently his tracks Super Gremlin, Roll One, Say Aye and Thanks I Know are available on Apple Music, and iTunes. He's working on more tracks in preparation for an upcoming album.
